That 70's Outfit

I don't always model, but when I do it's usually for my friend Sara Freitag. When she put together this styled shoot for a fashion decade project I ended up realizing I have a whole lot of 70's inspired clothing (and a whole lot of Madewell) in my wardrobe, so this shoot is turning into a series. More to come, but here's the first set!

Suzanne + David

Suzanne and David got married on a beautiful sunny Saturday in Rancho Santa Fe, California (the only sunny break in the midst of almost a week and a half straight of rain). These sweethearts met via a dating app called Coffee meets Bagel and fell in love fast, so it was only appropriate that on their wedding morning they had coffee and bagels with their wedding parties. Surrounded by their friends and family, they wed in the church that David (and amazingly talented pianists and organ player) worked at while they dated, and later danced until they couldn't anymore (certain persons fell on the floor and were fanned until revived and dancing again).

Best of 2016

Man 2016, I know you were kind of a rough year for the world, but you sure look good on my couples and portrait sessions. I loved getting to relive some of my weddings and other shoots while putting this post together. Feeling all the emotions all over again, and laughing and crying along with the people in the photos is one of my favorite parts of my job. Here's to everyone who trusted me to capture themselves, their life, and their love this year. Thanks for trusting me to freeze time for you, it was an honor.

Janet + Michael

Janet and Michael's elegant outdoor fall wedding at Leo Carillo Ranch in Carlsbad, San Diego was simply gorgeous. Alternating between tearing up at their beautiful vows and laughter at their jokes and hilarity, Janet and Michael had all their guests and myself going. I don't think I've ever laughed so much during a ceremony! Not to mention I was obsessed with their gorgeous location that had plenty of white walls, bougainvillea, cacti, and succulents to go around, and the loveliest florals by Organic Flora. What a dream!

I loved having the opportunity to second shoot for the talented Corinne Alexandra once again, she's one of my favorite lady bosses and so much fun!
